What is Nugbucks?

Nugbucks is an app for iOS and Android. You can add points to your Nugbucks account using your credit or debit card, or Paypal. The points can be redeemed (1:1 Nugbucks to Dollars) at any participating retailer. The great thing about Nugbucks is that you can easily “Kick a Nug” to anyone with a Nugbucks account.

Where can I download Nugbucks?

Nugbucks is available for both iOS and Android. You can download either version from our website’s home page. This link will take you directly to either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Okay, I installed it. Now what?

Before you can use Nugbucks, you must sign up for an account at your local participating retailer. The process is simple and quick, and your account is ready immediately. Once your account is active, enter your email address and password, then tap Sign In.

Menu Functions

Add Points – Use this to add points to your Nugbucks account, using your credit or debit card, or PayPal account for funds. Approval is immediate, and your balance will update when the transaction is complete.

Balance Inquiry – Any time you want to refresh your balance, tap here. The updated balance will be displayed at the top of the Recent Activity screen.

Account Profile – This is where you can change the app settings and update your email address. Log in Automatically tells the Nugbucks app to save your password and take you to the Recent Activity screen on startup. You can also opt in or out of the Nugbucks promotional email list on this screen.

Payment Profile – This screen shows the active payment methods associated with your Nugbucks account. You’ll need to add a new payment method after you sign up. Tap Add New Card and enter the required fields, then save your information. You can now use this card for retail purchases or to Kick a Nug.

Kick a Nug – You can share your Nugbucks with any other Nugbucks member. Just enter their email address, the amount you want to kick, and a brief message. Nugbucks will then transfer the amount specified, and the recipient will receive a notification on their device.

Logout – Use this feature if you don’t want Nugbucks to automatically log you in each time you load the app.
